The DigiHan project investigates the contexts and practices surrounding the implementation of plans for increasing the use of digital technologies in primary and secondary schools in Germany. Drawing on implementation science and framed by an understanding of schools as a cultural phenomenon, the DigiHan project explores how ongoing change processes are unfolding. The project utilises open interviews and classroom observations. The goal is to identify key elements which facilitate and which hinder the uptake of digital media in schools, and to generate impulses for the future of digital education in Germany.
