Kathleen Reiß

M.A., studied at the TU Dresden and graduated Fall 2005 with a degree in Modern and Contemporary History, Germanic Studies/Linguistic and Computer Science. She wrote her thesis on the topic “National Socialistic Forced Labor in Dresden and Bautzen 1941-1946.” During her studies she managed the homepage “History of Early Modern Times,” for the Institute for History at the TU Dresden. From Fall 2006 to early 2007 she worked on the design and compilation of an academic commemorative publication for the university anniversary of the HTW Dresden. In May 2007 she completed advanced training as a subject specialist for cultural tourism and marketing in Lower Saxony (REGIALOG 2007) with a concentration on regional level, cultural, museum and city marketing, public relations and empirical visitor analysis. She was active during this time at the East Frisian Tea Museum & Museum for Folklore North/East Frisia, among others.

Kathleen Reiss has been a research fellow on the Edumeres project (the Information and Communication Platform for International Educational Media Research) since April 2009 in the Communication and Transfer Department at the Georg Eckert Institute.
