Roderich Henrÿ

studied geography, history and political science at the University of Saarbrücken. He is a research fellow at the Georg Eckert Institute in the field of geography. His particular expertise lies in the regional geography of France, Canada and China, as well as in issues related to environment and sustainable development, and virtual educational media research.

He is currently working on an international information and communication portal devoted to research on educational media (Edumeres.net) and editing the Series of the Institute (Eckert.Die Schriftenreihe). Furthermore, he holds seminars and workshops on trendsetting topics in the field of geography within the frame of teacher training in cooperation with the Beijing Normal University (BNU-Beijing).
