Graduate Studies (Magister) Historical Sciences, Sociology and Modern History. Research Associate in the faculty for Historical Sciences and Philosophy at Bielefeld University for the subproject “Crises of Political Inclusion. On the Form of Modern States in Germany, Great Britain and France” as part of the special research area “The Political as Communication Area in History.” Since 2001: Teaching activity at the University of Bielefeld, in particular a lecture series with the title “Body Politics,” which deals with new discourse-theoretical and body-historical perspectives in the historical sciences. From 2003-2005: Member of international research group on the theme “Islamic Culture and Modern Society” at the North Rhine – West Phalia Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (KWI) in Essen. 2005-2006: Research Associate in the project “Power and Cultural Assertiveness in Interreligious Communication. Conflict in Dialogue? An Empirical Analysis of Christian-Islamic Dialogues in Germany” at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research on Conflict and Violence (IKG) at the University of Bielefeld.
Research Associate at the Georg Eckert Institute in the research area of “Textbooks and Conflict” since July 2008, he is working on the project "Decolonization and Memory Politics - School Textbooks in the Context of Social Conflicts in France (1962 - 2009)" since August, 2010.
