Regina Peper

studied German and French in preparation for the teaching profession at the University of Hanover and at the Humboldt University in Berlin. From 2003 to 2004 she was a foreign language assistant at a school in northern France. She then worked for the Goethe Institute in Berlin as a teacher of German as a foreign language and as an instructor for teachers in the continuing education centre. After completing her first state examination, she completed a one-year paid internship in the communications department of the Berlin office of the Goethe Institute, where she covered for the press relations officer. From 2010 she headed the press and public relations offices of a variety of cultural and educational projects. 

She has worked at the Georg Eckert Institute as the head of press and public relations since January 2012.
