Isabelle Quillévéré-Eberle

M.A., German studies at Sorbonne/Paris IV University (1970-1975). Her master thesis was on "Hitler as a theoretician of violence in his writings and speeches". She qualified as a translator and interpreter for German and French at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Hanover-Hildesheim in 1991.

She worked as a freelance translator from 1974 to 1990, as a French teacher in adult education from 1977 to 2001 (VHS Salzgitter, VHS Braunschweig), as a multilingual secretary at Consulting Engineers Salzgitter from September 1990 to June 1993.

At the Georg Eckert Institute Isabelle Quillévéré-Eberle has been working as a translator and editor since July 1993, also as a Web editor since 2003. 

Among her numerous translations are:
