Achim Rohde
Dr. Phil, received his Masters‘ Degree in Islamic Studies, History and Social Anthropology from Hamburg University (2000). He submitted his PhD on „Facing Dictatorship. State-Society Relations in Ba`thist Iraq“ to the Free University Berlin (2006). Achim Rohde has been working as lecturer at the Asia-Africa-Institute of Hamburg University since 2002. He has been working as a research fellow at the Georg Eckert Institute since June 2006.
Project
Achim Rohde works within the programme "European cultural dialogue with Islam" on an Israeli-Palestinian textbook project, on a project dealing with appproaches to peace pedagogy in History, Geography and Civics instruction in Israel and Palestine, as well as on project about textbook research and revision in the Middle East.
