Ines Rülling
M.A. / Maîtrise, from 2002 to 2008 studied Historical and Romance Studies at the University of Bielefeld and Paris VII. Master’s thesis on the theme “Reconstruction of Museums and Memorials in Postwar Germany. A Comparison Between the French and American Occupation Zones.”
Ms Rülling has been an academic associate in the research area “Images of the Self and of ‘Others’: Islamic Societies and Europe” at the Georg Eckert Institute since July 2008.
Projects
Financed through the Lower Saxony Sponsorship Program “Pro Niedersachsen,” Ines Rülling explores the meaning and alteration of portrayals of the Crusades for European national discourse in historiography and textbooks.
