The extensive collection of historical German textbooks goes back to the 17th century.

Altogether there are currently textbooks from 160 countries available.

The collection focus lies on the European countries, where there is already a comprehensive current and historical inventory in stock. Particularly comprehensive is the inventory of newer textbooks from 46 european countries. In the future we aim to also assemble a historical collection for the European countries. At this time there is already a significant inventory of historical textbooks for France, Great Britain, Austria, Poland, Russia and the former Soviet Union.

The  focus of the Non-European Collection constitutes, along side textbooks from the USA, textbooks from China, Japan, Korea and India and above all from the Near and Middle East. An overview of textbook collections from non-european countries not included in the online catologue.
