Christiane Klaes

Christiane Klaes is head of the acquisitions team and oversees the development of the international textbook collection. As coordinator of the Specialised Information Service on Educational Science and Educational Research, she leads the expansion of the textbook collection for Africa, Asia and Latin America, as well as the integration of digital educational media into the library’s scope. Christiane Klaes qualified as a librarian in 2009 after studying at the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences. Before coming to the Georg Eckert Institute in 2011, she worked in the library of the Leipzig University of Music and Theatre.
