We understand public relations in the broad sense to be a way of fostering communication between academic research and society. Our prime concern is to make the results of our research accessible to a wide and curious public without forgoing complexity and depth of focus in the process. We provide media representatives with background knowledge and expertise in the socially relevant and topical fields that are of concern to the Georg Eckert Institute, on the intersection between academic research, peace studies, work on conflict situations, education policy and teaching practices.
