Christian Scheel has been a research associate of the Georg Eckert Institute since July 2015, coordinating the project International TextbookCat.
Christian Scheel studied information science at the Technische Universität Berlin, where he was a research associate and lecturer in the subject area of information retrieval. He is currently writing his doctoral thesis on this subject. His knowledge of search engine technology is constantly improving the search infrastructure for textbooks at the Georg Eckert Institute.
