Jessica Drechsler, MA

Jessica Drechsler is deputy head of the department Digital Information and Research Infrastructures.

From October 2011 to November 2012 she assisted the library team at the Georg Eckert Institute within the "Funding for Outstanding Research Libraries" project supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Her tasks within that project were the technical construction and content design of a digital Curricula Workstation. Jessica Drechsler has worked at the Georg Eckert Institute since November 2012 as an information technologist responsible for the library applications.

She studied for a BA in library and information management and then completed her MA in information science and management at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. During her studies she specialised in web information retrieval, usability of information services and information technology.
