In order to further guarantee the quality of its services and to consistently review its scholarly and practical relevance, the Georg Eckert Institute established a Service Advisory Committee, whose central task is to examine and evaluate the Institute's overall services.

Frank Biewendt has been the Chairman of the Service Advisory Committee since 2010. Dr. Peter Lautzas chaired the Committee from 2007 to 2009.
