Erasmo Purificato

Erasmo Purificato has been a Research Fellow in the Digital Transformation and Research Infrastructure department at the Georg Eckert Institute since February 2020.

His research field at the GEI is on the use of Machine Learning algorithms and Deep Learning architectures for user modeling and user-adaptive interaction.

Between September 2017 and December 2019, prior to join the GEI, Erasmo worked at Blue Reply in Turin (Italy), a company specialized in designing and implementing innovative solutions in the Digital Services, Technology and Consulting fields exploiting both IBM tools and open-source technologies. From January 2019 he worked as a Technical Leader in the Artificial Intelligence Business Unit, developing projects in Computer Vision and Content-Based Image Retrieval fields.

Erasmo studied Computer Engineering for his Bachelor and Master at University of Naples (Italy) between 2011 and 2017. In 2019 he got a 2nd level Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at University of Turin (Italy).
