The aim of the association of friends is to lend financial and conceptual support to the many activities carried out by the Leibniz Institute for Educational Media | Georg Eckert Institute. The association of Friends currently makes a considerable contribution to some of the important projects undertaken by the Institute, which it would be unable to finance itself. One of these projects is its scholarship programme, which is responsible in no small way for disseminating the work and results of the Institute around the world.
Anyone interested in the work of the institute, be it individuals or organisations can become a member of the association of friends. The annual fee is €25 for individuals or €255 for organisations. The association of friends also accepts donations, which they use to promote the Institute's work.
