Alexandra Bänecke

Alexandra Bänecke has been administrative director at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Media | Georg Eckert Institute since 1 July 2021. She is responsible for all commercial, legal and administrative areas as well as building management. She was deputy head of administration and the finance manager at the Institute from 2018 to 2021.

From 2003 to 2008 she studied administrative economics and public services management at the Harz University of Applied Sciences and the University of Pardubice. Since 2020 she has been studying for an MA in business administration and management through a correspondence course with the TU Kaiserslautern.

She previously worked as a finance and project coordinator at the Center for Cluster Development (CCD) at the Freie Universität Berlin (2009-2012) and at the the Institut für Rechtswissenschaften at the TU Braunschweig (2013-2018).
