Press Release

A speed date with a scientist

The Leibniz Association’s ‘Book a Scientist’ event will take place virtually on 10 November 2021. The event enables anybody interested in the work of the Leibniz Association to arrange an exclusive (online) meeting with a scientist or academic to discuss a topic from the broad spectrum covered by the Association.

Researchers from the Georg Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research are available to discuss digitisation in the humanities, digital media in education and religion in schools. Enabling members of the public to speak directly to scientists and academics is intended to improve understanding of research and provide an insight into current areas of research.

Scientists and academics are available to discuss 130 topics from a diverse range of research areas across the Leibniz Association’s 96 Institutes.

All available appointments and further information can be found on the Leibniz Association website: www.leibniz-gemeinschaft.de/bookascientist
