    The overall concept of the textbook Chemie Gesamtband 11-12 (Chemistry complete volume 11-12) succeeds due to its design and the combination of print and online editions, where material can be accessed through a QR code. The quick and comprehensive reference possibilities, extensive research and the risk assessments for each experiment in the online version of the textbook are particularly admirable. Media skills are also trained through the inclusion of videos and animations. Each chapter includes aspects related to everyday life in its teaching units, with a particular focus on this aspect in the experiments and exercises. The textbook enables good, skill-based chemistry teaching at an elevated, but age-appropriate, level. The textbook was conceived for the Baden-Württemberg curricula, but can be used in other states too.
