Dritte internationale Summer School zur Bildungsmedienforschung am GEI
Vom 23. bis zum 27. September 2013 findet am Georg-Eckert-Institut die dritte internationale Sommerschule für Doktoranden und promovierte Wissenschaftler/-innen aus den Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften statt, die mit Schulbüchern oder anderen Bildungsmedien arbeiten. Das Thema lautet “Actors – Discourses – Practices: New Perspectives from the Social Sciences and Cultural Studies for Research Into Textbooks and Other Educational Media”. Die 18 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer kommen aus Australien, Deutschland, Georgien, Indien, Israel, den Niederlanden, Österreich, Polen, Schweden, Russland und der Tschechischen Republik. Als Experten sind auf der Summer School Dr. Katarina Eriksson Barajas von der Linköpings universitet (Schweden), Prof. Patricia Bromley von der University of Utah (USA), Prof. Ivor Goodson von der University of Brighton (Großbritannien), Priv. Doz. Dr. Christoph Kühberger von der Pädagogischen Hochschule Salzburg (Österreich) sowie der Georg-Arnhold-Gastprofessor Ayaz Naseem von der Concordia University in Montreal (Kanada) vertreten.
Third International Summer School on Educational Media Research at the GEI
From September 23 to 27, the third international summer school for doctoral candidates and post-doctoral scholars from the humanities and social sciences working with textbooks and other educational media will take place at the GEI. The topic is “Actors – Discourses – Practices: New Perspectives from the Social Sciences and Cultural Studies for Research Into Textbooks and Other Educational Media.” The 18 participants will come from Australia, Germany, Georgia, India, Israel, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Sweden, Russia and the Czech Republic. Experts at the summer school will be Katarina Eriksson Barajas from the Linköping University (Sweden), Patricia Bromley from the University of Utah (USA), Ivor Goodson from the University of Brighton (United Kingdom), Christoph Kühberger from the University of Education Salzburg (Austria) as well as the Georg Arnhold Visiting Research Guest Professor Ayaz Naseem from the Concordia University in Montreal (Canada).
